A bullet struck U.S. plate found on Little Round Top Gettysburg. This is a cartridge box plate and it stopped the Confederate bullet that was fired saving the life of the wearer. This plate is featured on the cover and inside of the book “Gettysburg Battlefield Relics and Souvenirs”. An amazing relic and one of the very few authentic examples known to exist.
