A Civil War Confederate flag flown at the battle of 1st Bull Run, Mananas Virginia. This company size 1st National Confederate flag was given to George Washington Kurtz of the Stonewall Brigade by his family. It flew at First Bull Run. He kept the flag with him after they received their official colors. He had this flag on him when he was captured at the battle of Gettysburg. This flag can be seen in the painting in this post on the far right. This flag was formerly exhibited at the Mananas National Park. It is now at The Gettysburg Museum of History on permanent display.
