Abraham Lincoln Chair From Stay in Gettysburg PA
Original chair from the room Abraham Lincoln stayed in at Gettysburg. From the David Will’s House. Will’s daughter, Jennie Wills Quimby, mentions this straight chair and the 1938 photo in a notarized letter. This chair is clearly visible in the 1938 photo. It is likely that Abraham Lincoln sat in this chair to put the finishing touches on the Gettysburg address.
