RARE OUTSTANDING Wall EARLY STYLE NSDAP (Nazi Party) Eagle. Early style German wall eagle cast in what we believe to be iron. It’s a very heavy metal and has a 9 inch wingspan and it 8 inches in height. There are two machined holes on the backside where an attachment would have allowed it to be hung on the wall or it was possible attached to a wood plaque at one point. Nice early eagle probably late 1920s to early 1930s. Wall eagles were often given as prizes for competitions held at the rallies, and also as presentations to members of the political elite.  This is the earliest style political eagle.  This is a “one looker” as we say!
