RARE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH, SIGNED (AUTOGRAPHED) BY ADOLF HITLER To Gretel Braun CERTIFIED. Adolf Hitler signed photo in period frame. The photo is signed in black fountain pen and is a classic photo with the photographer’s information and location on the front. Adolf Hitler 1889 – 1945) Fuhrer of Germany and Nazi Party leader, Hitler’s bloody rise to power, his military seizure of most of Europe and North Africa and his genocidal racial policies culminated in suicide in his Berlin bunker as Russian troops approached. Important association I.S.P., 5 x 7 in. b/w, a pensive left profile of Hitler inscribed at bottom to GRETL BRAUN (1915-1987), the sister of Hitler’s future wife, EVA BRAUN. At bottom he adds the location ‘Munchen’ and dates the piece, the month illegible, the year 1934. Two creases do not substantially detract, with a tiny corner crease at upper-left. Gretl was an intimate member of the inner social circle of Adolf Hitler at the Berghof. She married SS-Gruppenfuhrer Hermann Fegelein, a liaison officer on Hitler’s staff, on 3 June 1944. In the closing days of World War II, Fegelein was shot for desertion on Hitler’s orders. Period frame, with added uv resistant plexiglass for protection.  A very dark and bold signature of Adolf Hitler hand signed (autographed) in black fountain pen ink. This bold dark signature is about as nice as one can get although it is in a good clear area it can be clearly seen, and it is a very nice dark signature with no smudges or issues.
