RARE Original WWII German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) RAD Hewer (DAGGER) (Reichsarbeitsdiens Haumesser für Mannschaften und Unterführer) by Carl Julius Krebs of Solingen. Certified. Here from a Vet family’s, early Model 1934 RAD EM Subordinate Hewer (Reichsarbeitsdiens Haumesser für Mannschaften und Unterführer) by Carl Julius Krebs of Solingen. The blade on this one is clean, and the motto is dark. great. The crisp, acid etched “Arbeit adelt” motto and “RADJ Ges. Gesch. Carl Julius Krebs Solingen” maker mark are all clearly visible. The fit is perfect, and so is the tip! It shows the typical surface scratches and scuffs. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard is looks good. It retains 78%+ paint coverage. There is minor age spidering throughout. The nickel plated and black burnished fittings provide wonderful detail, throughout the RAD logos and decorative interweaving top patterns. The lower reverse has some pitting un-cleaned. the screws on the scabbard are gone. The scabbard/cross guard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The steel based, nickel-silver plated hilt has lifting to the plating I clearly show. All the patina matches. The stag horn grip plates have wonderfully aged, providing wonderful contrasting beige/brown colors that only time can create! There are no cracks of chips, and they remain tightly secured by two aluminum screws and spanners. A great untouched example. 100% guaranteed to be authentic complete museum documentation (COA) provided. An amazing historical artifact! See our other pieces on our web site. VERY RARE! Don’t miss this!
