RARE LARGE OUTSTANDING VERY HEAVY Wall EAGLE NSDAP (Nazi Party) THE BIGGEST WE HAVE EVER OFFERED CERTIFIED. Colossal  pressed metal, copper clad multi pieced wall eagle. It’s a super unique, hand-made example and probably one of a kind that was made to hang on a wall inside of an important building. We never expected to find a period photo of something this unique but in one famous picture published in the Saris Reichsbahn Eagles reference book you can see two US soldiers in Düsseldorf checking out another large eagle they have down on the floor. The photo caption explains these soldiers are looking for a bring back souvenir. In the background hanging on the wall you can see what is almost certainly this same bird. The highlights around the wreath match up and the top feathers swooping upwards on the ends are a perfect match, along with other details.  This piece came out the one of the largest collections of Third Reich Eagles which was acquired over many years by a leading expert in the field.
