Outstanding VERY RARE Original Third Reich Era German Nazi Party BANNER Certified. Unique piece: Third Reich, embroidered NS flag around 1933, Post Sports Club Augsburg & sovereign eagle. Very high-quality original flag of the Post Sportverein Augsburg from the National Socialist era, the club was founded in 1927 by the then president of the German Reichspost “Anton Arndt”. Front: on cream cloth hand-embroidered post horn in oak leaves, complete post horn and acorn hat embroidered in fine gold metal thread, lettering “Post Sportverein Augsburg / Athletik Abtlg. Gegr. 1927“. Reverse: on red bunting large hand-embroidered party eagle / sovereignty eagle of gold metal thread, swastika in oak wreath below in the fangs. On 2 sides sewn flag rings, other 2 sides fringe hangings with gold cantillas (bouillons). Very good original condition, uncleaned, front with few small moth holes, back (eagle) immaculate. Dimensions: Approx. 900 x 900mm or 35-1/2 x 35-1/2 inches. Exceptional flag with finest metal thread embroidery in the highest collector quality, absolute rarity and original piece. This is made of the same material and construction as the famous Deutschland Erwacht flags! Amazing chainstitched embroidery! We placed a helmet on the flag for size reference.   A fantastic piece of history.  the original loops for attaching to a pole. In good condition with Very minor storage wear (see photos) Excellent condition, great but used! GOOD ALMOST MINT CONDITION. This flag is a good quality version and one of the better sizes for the most discriminating and cultivated collector.
