Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) M40 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M40) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Helmet retains a good portion of its  textured Luftwaffe grey paint. Second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is also retained about 60%. All three liner retaining rivets intact. M31 tan leather liner is complete and in very good condition (see photos). It still has it’s original tie string!   The reverse interior neck guard apron is lot number stamped, “12230” and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturers code and size, “nkp64”, indicating manufacture by Sachsische Emaillerwerk, Lauter, size 64.  Nice untouched helmet.. Shows the expected age, wear and use. has a name inside the liner see photo.   In good but used condition .
