Original WWII German ARMY (HEER) M35 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M35) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains a good portion of its original EARLY APPLE GREEN paint showing some wear and field usage. This helmet is a DOUBLE DECAL HELMET The Eagle decal is about 90% complete. The Tri-color shield is about 98% Some toning in the decals (see photo).  All three liner retaining rivets and both inserted ventilation bushings are all intact.   The interior of the helmet has a tan, M31 leather liner with all eight of its fingers intact. The interior reverse neck guard apron is lot number stamped, “810”, and the interior left side apron is stamped with the manufacturers code “Q66” for maker Quist size 66. Chinstrap is all original slightly trimmed!. This inside aluminum band is early and marked and does have a crack (almost all these early types did). It is still very solid and does not effect the helmet.  Shows the expected but VERY MINIMAL age, wear and use.  In good but used condition .
