Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) SA (Brown Shirts) Dagger Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The blade on this one looks good. The crossgrain looks great, the fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The acid etched “Alles fur Deutschland” motto and large “E. Knecht & Co. Solingen” maker mark are both beautifully executed! The blade rates a solid Exc++. It has a few dots or age and in/out marks. The brown anodized scabbard shows wear and remains dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings look good with some small hits from normal wear and nice matching patina. The ball has taken a small hit as shown. All four screws remain intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a pleasing snap! The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gruppe stamped “Nr”. The grip / crossguard fits are perfect! The brown multi-toned hardwood grip is chip and crack-free, it does has small bumps again exactly what we expect to see on used original examples. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains most of its enamel. It has it’s original leather hanger as found. A beautiful example, OUTSTANING U.S. Veteran  bringback.  Nice period used SA Dagger  captured by a U.S. Veteran   and brought home as a war trophy.  We obtained this directly from the Veteran’s family (Fresh Out Of The Woods) It has never been in another collection!
