WWII U.S. M-1  swivel Bail, Front Seam Helmet  Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A WWII helmet   complete with liner. Has original factory straps and hardware in excellent (almost mint) condition. Rear seam swivel bails. The liner and shell looks like it  has  been together for a long time, original factory paint on the helmet and liner (paint loose on the shell).   Original WWII period applied paint and cork. All hardware is complete. Lot number is could not be determined. The liner is Capac liner with their logo (see photos). Has a “Shrimp net” that was added by a collectors. Very little  wear on the original leather sweat band and straps the leather band on the liner has a staple repair (see photos)  otherwise good condition. the liner has a Lt. bar and a “follow me” stripe and also a name “Bruce Smith” .  For a collector that is looking for an good example that is original.  This is a late war WWII helmet was  used later (occupation) Rear seam helmet came out at the very end of WWII and were mostly occupational use and Korea. We rarely get WWII US helmets because so many were reused for Korea and Vietnam so it’s difficult to find a true WWII example. 100% guaranteed to be authentic untouched WWII U.S. Helmet.
