Original WWII German Army EM/NCO’S VISOR CAP EAGLE. (Schirmmützen Adler) Certified.  FIRST pattern, die stamped tombac alloy, construction national eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in its talons. The eagle has a roughly, 65mm wingspan and is slightly convexed to fit the contours of a cap. its original silver wash is almost perfect.  The recessed reverse of the eagle has both of its original soldered attachment prongs intact. Good (almost mint) example showing the expected minor age and wear. In good but used condition with slight tarnish.  Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic brought home by a U.S. Veteran. Sold for historic purposes only.
