Original WWII Japanese Navy Cap Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Black wool construction cap as used by the Japanese navy. A yellow anchor is machine embroidered on a vertical oval patch sewn to its front. ย  The doubled wool chin strap, in the same color as the rest of the cap, has its ends sewn over each ear and is complete with its two adjustment loops. The short, soft visor is also made of the same material as the body, and it has five, parallel, reinforcing stitch lines to it. The cap has three reinforced ventilation holes to either side of its crown. Two reinforced eyelets are on either side of a 50mm slit to the reverse.. Its sweatband, simulated leather oilcloth material ย  also be seen to the interior.
