Original WWII German SS Officer High Quality  Silver Spoon Taken By A U.S. Veteran. A  silver spoon. This piece is from a Waffen SS Officer’s silver set. This was for entertaining and the fanciest upscale dinners. Very heavy with maker mark and a very nice roll stamped “Forthaus am See Feldafing”.  This piece was taken by a U.S. Soldier during WWII as “Loot” or “Trophy of War”. This silver pattern was found in May of 1945. It is part of the Dr. Mark Griffith collection of WWII silver and he and interviewed hundreds of Veterans pictured here.
