Original WWII German Reichspost Sports Shirt Eagle Brought Home By A U.S. Soldier Certified. As with most nations, the German national postal service was a uniformed organization, whose uniform regulations were altered shortly after the NSDAP achieved political power in January of 1933. Physical fitness of its personnel was a prime concern of the German NSDAP , and each branch was is issued a specific sport uniform that consisted of a white pullover “tank top” style shirt, navy blue shorts, black or green swim trunks and athletic shoes. Additional sports wear was optional.. The sports shirt eagle was introduced on July 4TH 1935 to be worn on the front center of the sports shirt. Machine embordered Reichspost eagle in white on blue background. Almost Mint and hard to find. lightly worn example; in overall good condition. Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided.
