OUTSTANDING WWII German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) POLITICAL LEADER’S BELT BUCKLE FACE ONLY . (Koppelschloß)  Brought Home By A U.S. Solider Certified. The circular Political Leader’s buckle was introduced in 1940, a double open-claw buckle having been used prior to that and, prior to 1934, the SA buckle. A stamped, gold-washed aluminum belt buckle face features a spread-winged eagle with a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons. Encircling the eagle is a wreath of oak leaves, which the eagle’s wings extend into. The catch is intact but  belt latch is missing (priced accordingly).  to the reverse is an RZM, “Reichszeugmeisterei” (National-materiel-control-office), logo, alongside of which is “M4/27” for maker Overhoff & Cie. in Ludenscheid. .  Brought home by a U.S.  Soldier.
