Original WWII German M-35 Double Decal Painted Camouflage Helmet U.S. Veteran Bring Back ย In Original Untouched Condition. ย The sheet steel construction helmet retains about 95% of its original over painted ย green paint. The left side of the helmet has a black lined, Wehrmacht eagle decal which is painted over. The right side of the helmet at one time had a national tri-color decal that is painted over. The overpaint is a “Mediterranean two color tan and green pattern. ย All three liner retaining rivets and both inserted ventilation bushings are all intact. The interior of the helmet has ย a complete M31 tan leather liner, and complete chin strap. ย The reverse, interior, neck guard apron has a faint, stamped serial number โ€œ4028โ€ย and the manufacturerโ€™s code and size, โ€œET62โ€ย,Size 62.
