Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) M42 SINGLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M42) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Helmet retains a good portion of its rough textured Luftwaffe grey paint. Second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is also retained about 75%. All three liner retaining rivets intact. M31 tan leather liner is complete.  The reverse interior neck guard apron is lot number stamped, “25329” and the stamped manufacturers code and size, .”ckl 64″ indicating manufacture by Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz, size 64. Of Note: The placement of the manufacturer’s code and size on the reverse, interior, neck guard apron indicates manufacture after mid-1943. Has a piece of medical tape inside that was some sort of tag from the U.S. Veteran that brought it home but the text is now faded (perhaps the new owner can try to enhance it to find more information). Nice untouched helmet.  Shows the expected age, wear and use.  In good but used condition . Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic brought home by a U.S. Veteran.
