Original WWII German Luftwaffe (Airforce) M35 DOUBLE DECAL HELMET. (Stahlhelm M35) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran, Certified. Helmet retains a good portion of its original smooth, Luftwaffe blue/grey paint. Second pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal is retained about 90%. National tri-color shield decal is retained about 65% and has a period red paint touch up (see photos). All three liner retaining rivets and both ventilation bushings are all intact. M31 tan leather liner is fully intact with all fingers and original tie string. Liner is well marked with inkstamped size “58”.  The interior, left side, apron has the stamped manufacturer’s code and the size, “EF 66” indicating manufacture by manufacture by Emaillierwerk, AG Fulda, size 66. Both straps are intact and in good working condition. Has the soldier’s name painted in white on the neck apron “H. Sauer” Decent worn and used example.
