Original WWII German Cut Off RAD MALE’S CAP INSIGNIA. (Mützenabzeichen) Certified. RAD male’s cap insignia as first introduced in metal in 1934 for use on the overseas, M43 and “Robin Hood” style caps. In 1938 machine woven and embroidered versions were introduced and used throughout the war. Machine woven insignia featuring an upward pointing white spade head bordered in red and white with a canted black swastika to center, flanked by white wheat sheafs to either side. , Nice used example showing the expected but mild storage age and wear.
