Original WWII German Army (Heer) Soldier Metal Desk Bust With Wood Base Certified. A black zinc bust of a helmeted soldier, weighing 2,170 grams, the bust 140 mm in height x 132 mm across the shoulders, mounted to a 90 mm x 100 mm x 60 mm high wooden pedestal with angled corners via an inset bolts , the overall height of the bust and pedestal totaling 200 mm, minor bubbling and overall blackening loss on the bust, nips evident along the edges and corners of the wood. The wood base might be a replacement, most of these had marble bases and they tended to break if dropped. We are not sure if it was replaced or not but the bolts look newer that WWII. Only 2 of the 4 bolts are there but it is very sturdy. There is a place for a presentation plaque in the front. A very nice looking artifact. very fine. In very good condition.
