Original WWII German Army General High Quality Large Silver Serving Spoon By WMF Taken By A U.S. Veteran. A very large silver serving spoon by maker WMF. This  spoon is from an Army General’s silver set. This was for entertaining and the most fancy upscale dinners. Very heavy with the WMF maker mark and a very nice roll stamped Wehrmacht eagle.   This piece was taken by a U.S. Soldier during WWII as “Loot” or “Trophy of War”. This silver pattern was found  in May of 1945. It is part of the  Dr. Mark Griffith collection of WWII silver and he and interviewed hundreds of Veterans pictured here.
