Original RARE German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) DAF Loher Betriebsgemeinschaft Ruhstorf Enamel Member Badge Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. . With the dissolution of all Free Trade Unions in Germany in May 1933 the Deutsche Arbeitsfront, (German Labor Front), was established to replace the unions and to educate the workers in industry and commerce for smooth and efficient operation of all labor in the Third Reich. In October 1934 the DAF was given official status as a sub-section of the NSDAP and in March 1936 it was recognized as an independent NSDAP affiliated association and granted control of its own monetary budget. A round-shaped, stamped alloy enamel badge, 3.5cm across. The D.A.F. logo of a mobile swastika within a fourteen-toothed cog is the central image, above which is embossed Loher Betriebsgemeinschaft Ruhstorf.  A horizontal l pin-back device is soldered to its unmarked,  reverse.  One of the classic metal insignia from the third Reich in used condition. Typical light age toning plus wear during use. Nice example issued with expected storage wear. Brought home by a U.S. Veteran.  Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided.
