ORIGINAL OUTSTANDING RARE GERMAN NSDAP Pole Top Eagle Made Into A Desk Eagle Certified.  This NSDAP Pole Top is a choice example of an extremely impressive and desirable artifact, that could be the centerpiece of a display. This pattern of eagle was used to adorn Nazi Party standard poles and features a bold and striking looking German national political eagle and swastika emblem, executed in a fashion that is reminiscent of the eagles used to adorn railway cars. It’s made of aluminum, and shows only extremely minor wear, with full original detail and nice surfaces on both the front and back of the eagle. There are some very minor marks here and there, as well as a very light age patina in the recesses. The swastika emblem retains nearly all of the original black paint on the front, which accentuates the design. The socket for the flagpole is intact, with some roughness to the surface that may be the result of corrosion that was cleaned at some point in the past. The socket fitting is correctly maker marked with the round RZM logo, as well as a manufacturer code. This NSDAP Pole Top is a scarce original example. It was made into a desk eagle at some point (see the photos).  It remains in excellent condition.   Outstanding example, A RARE FLAGPOLE TOPPER! Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided.
