Original WWII NAMED German Navy (Kreigsmarine) EM/NCO’S OVERSEAS CAP. (Bordmütze) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Nice quality, deep navy blue wool/rayon blend construction overseas cap features fold down side and back panels with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front and forward sides. The front center of the cap has a machine woven national eagle in golden yellow threads on a cut-out, woven, navy blue, rayon base. The front center of the fold down panels has a machine woven national tri-color cockade, on a woven, navy blue, diamond shaped base. Both pieces of insignia are hand stitched to the cap. The interior of the cap is fully lined in light weight blue/black rayon material. Has a tag sewn inside with the Seaman’s name and information.  Nice worn and used example showing the expected age and wear.  Nice untouched piece! GOOD WORN CONDITION!
