Original LARGE German NSDAP (Nazi Party) SA (Brownshirts) Jagdgeschwader 6 Commemorative Table Medal, by Deschler & Sohn Certified. Jagdgeschwader 6 Erinnerungsmedaille). Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a Sturmabteilung (SA) logo, circumscribed by an inscription of “JAGDGESCHWADER HORST WESSEL”, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of ‘TREUE UM TREUE” (“LOYALTY BEGETS LOYALTY”), maker marked “DESCHLER, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 80 mm in diameter, These were found in the attic of the Deschler factory in Munich some years back, along with the never distributed Reichsparteitag medals and many other variants. This discovery is known as the “Deschler hoard” and everything was sold to three German collectors, one of which we have a direct connection to and who we sourced these from. . Very few samples were struck, and this piece is extremely rare. LARGE  2-3/4 inches in diameter.
