Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) S.A. Brownshirts Treueschwur Gau Mittelfranken Badge 1934 “Oath Badge” Certified. A beautiful looking piece! This piece was manufactured to commemorate the oath given by 1 million+ Nazi leaders and sub-leaders who swore their allegiances to Hitler in a ceremony given by Rudolf Hess. It is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been bronze washed. The round shaped obverse features a hand and wrist with its index finger, middle finger and thumb pointed to the sky above a mobile swastika and surrouneded by “Treueschwur 25.2. 1934 Gau Mittelfranken” (Pledge of Allegiance February 25th 1934 Gau Mittelfranken). The reverse features a semi-hollow back and is maker marked “R. Wachtler & Lange Mittweida SA”. It also has a horizontally soldered on well working tombak pin. It measures 1 9/16 inches in diameter. A great piece!  Scarce. Nice example showing the expected minor age and wear overall good   condition.  One of the classic desirable collector’s items  from the third Reich in used but in good but used condition.
