Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) N.S. Wohlfahrtsspence Mothers BADGE. Certified. Given to individuals who donated in a charitable collection to assist mothers. It is constructed out of a die stamped bronze base that has been gold gilded. The shield shaped obverse features a national eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its talons (left) beside a mother holding her child beside her (right) and above “N.S. Wohlfahrt Spende Für Die Mütter-Verschickung” (N.S. Welfare donation for the mothers – deportation). The hollow back reverse has a horizontally soldered on tombak pin that remains in well working condition. It has a small bend to it. It measures approximately 1 inch wide by 1 5/8 inches tall. Nice detail  some gilding remains.  Scarce. Nice example showing the expected minor age and wear overall good   condition.  One of the classic desirable collector’s items   from the third Reich in used but in good but used condition.
