Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) Gautag 1937 Karlsruhe Badge Certified. Constructed out of die stamped gilt metal. The obverse depicts an eagle sitting a top the handle of a upward pointing sword, with a wreathed swastika superimposed on the chest of the eagle, and the reading “Gautag” on the chest and “Karlsruhe 16-18.IV 37” on the wings. The hollow back reverse has a well working, horizontally soldered on, steel pin assembly. It measures 1 1/2 inches wide by 2 3/16 inches tall. Great looking scarce badge.
