Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) 1939 PATTERN SA/POLITICAL VISOR CAP EAGLE. (Mützen Abzeichen) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Allegedly the first pattern Third Reich political national eagle was personally designed by Adolf Hitler himself and was introduced on November 4TH 1927. Originally the first pattern eagle was worn on the Kepi by SA and SS personnel and wasn’t adopted for wear by NSDAP political leaders until 1931. Uniform regulations of January 1934 introduced a second pattern political style national eagle and a further modified eagle was introduced in 1936, and again in 1937 with a final form being introduced in April 1939. A slightly convex, 1939 pattern, gold washed  eagle, with a wing span of 65mm, who clutches a wreathed, mobile swastika in its talons. To its hollow-backed are all of the  0riginal prongs  . Reverse is marked RZM and the code M1/53  In good used condition with some storage wear. Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided.
