Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) 1934 GERA PROVINCIAL DAY BADGE. (Gautag Abzeichen) Certified . A stamped alloy badge in the form of three stylized oak leaves, with an eagle clutching a wreathed, static swastika to its center, and a shield beneath within which is a “lion rampant” holding a mobile swastika before it. Acorns are arranged horizontally to either side of the base of the shield. To the center oak leaf, above the eagle, is “Gau-Tag Gera 1934.” To the left oak leaf, diagonally, is “Es lebe des ewige” (It lives [of-the] eternally), with “Deutschland!” similarly positioned on the right leaf. Nicely maker marked on back,  pin-back device is complete8 .  Scarce. Nice example showing the expected minor age and wear overall good   condition.  One of the classic desirable collector’s items   from the third Reich in used but in good but used condition.
