Eva Braun’s Personally Owned “EB” Butterfly Monogram Opera Glasses Taken By A U.S. Soldier. A fancy pair of opera glasses with ivory owned by Eva Braun with her “EB” butterfly monogram designed for her by Albert Speer. This piece was taken by a U.S. Soldier and was part of the Dr. Mark Griffith collection who wrote 2 books on Hitler and Third Reich silver.  This appears to be ivory and it could possibly be gold plate. We have not tested it. This item along with several other items was “liberated” in May 1945 by a U.S. Soldier.
