Original Hitler silver large Serving Dish lid (warmer) from his “formal” dining set. We have a few pieces we are selling. This offer is for one piece a mega rare dish lid.  This is one of the rarest pieces from the set. The sets would have up to 30 forks and spoons for settings but only one or two tray covers in this size.   The formal pattern is the most desirable of all the silver owned by Hitler featuring his personal eagle and AH monogram. THIS PIECE IS THE ORIGINAL LID! THESE ALMOST NEVER SHOW UP IN COLLECTIONS!  A BIG AND HEAVY SILVER-PLATED PIECE! No dents or dings just a few very light barely noticeable scratches like all silver have.  IT WAS IN THE FIRE AT THE BERGHOF, so we didn’t polish it! We decided to leave it as it was found! “This was “liberated” (looted) by a U.S. Solider. This pattern was used for formal lunches and dinners at The Eagle’s Nest, the Berghof, and the Reich Chancellery. This is the pattern Hitler used for formal state dinners.
