41x Original WWII German Death Cards Mostly Heer (Army) Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. An excellent selection of WWII German Death Cards. Death cards were memorial made for fallen soldiers during WWII. So many German soldiers fell on foreign soil and their bodies remained on foreign soil so the family’s would have these Memorials for the solider called “Death Cards”. They would have a photo of the dead solider and usually a patriotic or more often a religious symbol. They are really great for research because they also contain a lot of information birth date, death date, unit, awards, family information and more. Offered here are 41 different authentic death cards from WWII. One card has 3 brothers all killed. A poignant look at the cost of war. Seldom seen in the U.S. Scarce. In good condition. A very reasonable price.  Housed in a 3 ring binder with archival protective sleeves.  Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided. Certified by The Gettysburg Museum of History.
