Description

From 1861-1865 the Confederate States of America did its best to produce this design of waist belt plate for its soldiers. ย  They were not an item of issue to the Army of Northern Virginia, but had wide distribution in the Western Armies. ย  As a substitute, many Confederate soldiers wore the U.S. waist plate, wearing it upside down.

Waist Belt Plate replicas are made of lead-free materials and are Useable with modern belts.
