John F. Kennedy’s Personally Owned/Used Jenny Gas Credit Card “Hon John F. Kennedy” JFK’s personal gas credit card from his time as a U.S. Senator. Jenny Oil was a Boston company with ties to JFK’s father Joseph P. Kennedy. They were among the first to use credit cards in the 1950’s. This card was well used by JFK and was saved in his Senate/White House files by his Secretary Evelyn Lincoln.
