Original Civil War Canister (Cannon Ball) From Pickett’s Charge Battle Of Gettysburg. Classic large 1.5″ canister (Cannon Ball) these are about as big as a golf ball. They were fired from a Napoleon Gun (Cannon). During Pickett’s Charge they were firing double and triple canister. Canister was multiple balls placed inside a large tin can and fired from a cannon like a large shotgun used against advancing infantry. It was direct fire and devastating at closer range. This canister ball was recovered near the North Carolina Monument along the Confederate line (Pickett’s Charge Area). Recovered Pre-National Park and is legal and ย 100% guaranteed to be authentic.
