Original piece of wood from the Wheatfield, Gettysburg, PA. This is the original wood present during the battle. A “Witness Tree” was one there during the battle. This tree was standing near the 8th New Jersey monument. This is 100% guaranteed to be authentic and is certified by the Gettysburg Museum of History. A rare historic artifact from one of Gettysburg’s most iconic historic spots on the field and considered the most bloody spot. The famous Irish Brigade fought here. Also included in this display is an original bullet found in the Wheatfield (near the tree). The bullet was found pre-National Park and is 100% legal to own. The tree was removed from the battlefield by tree cutters and we obtained the wood legally from this source. This display comes matted and framed in a Riker display. Art and mat color may vary.
