Nice size piece of an exploded artillery shell from the Civil War recovered near Benner’s Hill, Gettysburg. Benner’s Hill overlooks the town of Gettysburg and is on the Hanover Road. There was a large Confederate Artillery Battery on Benner’s Hill and it was a target of Union Artillery during the Battle of Gettysburg. Comes in a matted and framed Riker box (Mat color may vary.
