In Working   condition Civil War period model   pistol . There is matching numbers so it all original parts but is impossible to accurately date this one. It is a standard   version with plane wood grips and  steel frame.    This gun’s spring is loose and   it   does not work and does not fire and cock. Cock works by pushing the trigger forward when cocking (a simple adjustment should fix it) strong spring!  the grips are slightly worn but nice.   has some very mild surface pitting.   The gun   is about .36 caliber.   Many European weapons were exported to the US for sale before and during the Civil War.
