Original Nice Civil War Excavated Relic U.S. Eagle Breast  plate recovered at Stafford County Near Fredericksburg and it is is an older recovered breast plate. A very historic recovery location.   Recovered in the Stafford, Virginia area (Fredericksburg) what was then off National Park property and is 100% Legal and 100% authentic. Both of the two hooks are intact and  it looks good, in  EXCELLENT relic condition. Nice smooth perfect chocolate brown patina. This is one of the BEST early pick-up breast plates from an old collection.  Documented Breast plates are very difficult to find and only come from old collections.
