Original Large 12lb. Boreman Fuse Case Shot (Inert) Civil War Cannon Ball Recovered From Virginia, The Classic Civil War Cannon Ball Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A very nice Civil War relic 12lb cannon ball, this is the classic case shot Civil War cannon ball. This was drilled and flushed of its powder and is completely safe (non-explosive). Has a Boreman timed fuse and it was covered in varnish to stop the rust (see photos) It does have a small piece that fell off (see Photos) You can hear the case shot balls inside rolling around! Found in Virginia. A very historic recovery location and a very nice-looking cannon ball. Recovered Pre-National Park and is 100% Legal and 100% authentic.  Some pitting, in very good relic condition. Cannon balls this nice are very difficult to find and only come from old collections.
