Original Civil War Union Eagle Buttons From A Killed In Action 2nd Minnesota Soldier Certified. A group of 6 eagle buttons, 4 coat size and 2 cuff size (all are complete with the shank) removed from the uniform of Cpl. John S. Sherburne of the 2nd Minnesota Infantry who was killed at the battle of Chickamauga Creek Tennessee. The group has an old tag and comes in a glass case and a group of supporting documents and a book about the 2nd Minnesota listing him killed in action. A very scarce historical western theater grouping. Complete museum documentation (COA) Provided.
