Original Civil War Period Cap And Ball   .44 Caliber steel frame drop trigger Antique Pistol Certified. Civil War Period .44 caliber Cap And Ball Pistol. In Working condition Civil War period model pistol . There is no numbers so it is impossible to accurately date this one. It is a deluxe version with wood grips and engraved steel frame.  This gun’s spring is a bit loose but it does work and does fire and cock if you push the drop trigger when you cock it. the grips are slightly worn but nice.  has some very mild surface wear  The gun is about .44 caliber A REAL HAND CANNON!  Many European weapons were exported to the US for sale before and during the Civil War. A classic Civil War period pistol and A choice functioning display gun.  A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War. Many Civil War soldiers carried private purchase “back up” weapons as illustrated in the photos.  (see photos)  This gun is 100% guaranteed to be authentic, and unaltered.
