In non Working  condition Civil War period model   pistol . There is only 3 numbers so it is impossible to accurately date this one. It is a standard  version with  wood grips and steel frame. This gun’s spring is very tight and it does not work and does not fire and cock.  the grips are slightly worn but nice. The gun is about .36 caliber.  Many European weapons were exported to the US for sale before and during the Civil War. A classic Civil War period pistol and A choice functioning display gun.  A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War. Many Civil War soldiers carried private purchase “back up” weapons as illustrated in the photos. This gun is 100% guaranteed to be authentic, and unaltered. A fantastic non functioning display piece.
