In non Working  condition Civil War period model   pistol . There is no numbers so it is impossible to accurately date this one. It is a standard   version with plane wood grips and steel frame.    This gun’s spring is tight and   it   does not work and does not fire and cock. The grips are slightly worn but nice.   has some very mild surface pitting.   Many European weapons were exported to the US for sale before and during the Civil War. A classic Civil War period pistol and A choice non functioning display gun.  A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War.
