In Working  condition Civil War period Allen And Whellock model pistol .  It is a standard  version with plane wood grips and steel frame.  This gun’s spring is tight and it does work and does fire and cock on  trigger and hammer. Excellent strong spring!    the grips are slightly worn but nice.   has some very mild surface pitting. A classic Civil War period pistol and A choice functioning display gun.  A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War.
