In Working condition Civil War period Allen And Thurber model pistol.  It is a standard version with plane wood grips and steel frame.  This gun’s spring is tight, and it does work and does fire and cock, and the trigger and hammer works with a strong spring!  The grips are slightly worn but nice. Has some very mild surface pitting.  A classic Civil War period pistol and a choice functioning display gun.  A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War. Many Civil War soldiers carried private purchase “back up” weapons as illustrated in the photos. This gun is 100% guaranteed to be authentic, and unaltered. A fantastic functioning display piece.
