Original  Antique Lefaucheux Rim fire 6 Shot Revolver Certified. about .30  Caliber steel frame   Antique Pistol Certified.  In Working condition . There is no numbers so it is impossible to accurately date this one (circa 1868) . It is a standard version with checkered wood grips and steel frame. This gun’s spring is tight and  it does work and does fire and cock. The cylinder does  rotate when cycled.   the grips are slightly worn but nice.  has some very deep rich surface patina. Many Lefaucheux’s are missing the loading lever but this one is complete and works great!  Many European weapons were exported to the US for sale before and during the Civil War. A classic post Civil War period pistol and A choice functioning display gun.  A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War. Many Civil War soldiers carried private purchase “back up” weapons as illustrated in the photos. This gun is 100% guaranteed to be authentic, and unaltered. A fantastic functioning display piece.
